Hello Quail Run families! My name is Emily Boyd and I am the music teacher here at QRES. I've been singing in choir since I was a fourth grade student right here in Houston County. I completed my BM in Music Education at Georgia Southern University, where I performed with both the Georgia Southern Chorale and the Georgia Southern Opera. During my time at GSU, I was also an assistant director with the Statesboro Youth Chorale. I completed my Master of Music, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Music Theory Pedagogy, at the University of Tennessee Knoxville where I was a Graduate Teaching Assistant. I have taught voice lessons to students in elementary school through the collegiate level. I love to sing and play the guitar. This is my fourth year at QRES, and I am SO excited to get to know all of the amazing young musicians at our school!
