Bio
My name is LaShanda Latimore. I'm originally from Warren County. I left home in 1991 to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education. So, I attended Fort Valley State University. I graduated with my Bachelors and Masters Degrees and with honors. In 2001, I graduated with my Specialist Degree of Education from Georgia Southwestern University in Americus, GA. After graduating, I gave birth to my awesome son, Eric. He graduated from Houston County High in May 2019! Eric attends University of West Georgia and will earn his Bachelors Degree in Sports Management in December 2024. We currently reside in Kathleen, GA.
I've been teaching for about 29 years. I have taught at Macon County Elementary and Eagle Springs Elementary. I am currently teaching third grade at Quail Run Elementary. I love and enjoy teaching!
I strongly believe that all students should feel loved, safe, supported, and secure, but also challenged in the classroom.
