Although I am not a product of Houston County, I knew when I graduated college where I wanted to teach. I had always heard great things about the Houston County School System. I grew up in the small town of Cordele, GA. After high school I attended Georgia Southern University where I graduated in 2012, Cum Laude, with an Early Childhood Education Degree and ESOL endorsement. I later received my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southwestern University and my Teaching/Coaching Endorsement. 

I started my career in 2012 at Miller Elementary where I taught Pre-K and Second grade. Soon after the birth of my first child, I taught English to Chinese children online. I began working at Matt Arthur as a First Grade teacher in 2017. In 2023, I began my career at Quail Run Elementary School as an EIP teacher.

Teaching is more than just a profession. I love each of my students like they are my own. I will help them when they are struggling, pick them up when they are down, and celebrate their successes. I cannot wait to share my love of teaching with you and your child!
