Mrs. Mills joined the Quail Run Elementary team in 2023. Prior to administration, she was a teacher for 16 years. She is a proud graduate of Brewton Parker College in Mt. Vernon, Georgia and Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She has a BA in bachelor's degree in sociology, a master's degree in reading literacy, and an educational specialist degree in teaching and learning. Mrs. Mills also has endorsements in gifted, science, and STEM.

Mrs. Mills was the 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year at David Perdue Elementary School and a Houston County School District Top Ten Teacher of the Year.

She is the proud mom of Braylin, a sophomore student athlete at Houston County High School. She enjoys spending time with her family and mentoring young people.
